Rod Serling meets John McTiernan in this actionpacked adventure for The Strange by Bruce Cordell.
This would be an excellent choice for introducing new players to The Strange especially if you have a group that hungers for action. Not that the adventure skimps on possibilities for interesting character interaction either, but the fast pace should grab any player used to more 'traditional' RPGs, as well as players new to tabletop roleplaying in general. The fast-paced and incredibly strange opening scene should be a pleasant smack in the face for players expecting a plodding introduction to the setting. More lore-happy players should be pleasantly surprised by the introduction of who the big baddie at the end is, he's an important, not to mention imposing, figure in The Strange-universe.
If you are already in an ongoing campaign of the strange (and you should be!) this should slot right in with minimal effort. Personally i plan on using it to break up the pace of the excellent The Dark Spiral campaign already published.
Also, as an added bonus you get a bunch of interesteing pre-generated characters ready for play if you are using the adventure as a one-shot.
So go on, jump in to one of the best roleplaying games out there and let it be the key to a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. Welcome to the party, pal!
