It's a simplified system that is great for RPG beginners. It has rules for player safety and gives people who frequently have their voice silenced a chance to speak up by addressing this in the rules. Some people may object to this because they don't want to admit that marginalized groups exist but I guess if you don't want your 12 or 14 year old boys to learn that the world is a diverse place...I guess you don't play this system and move on.
Traveller was the RPG I cut my GMing teeth on in high school. it brings joy to my heart to see that there are people out there still making stuff for this game!

Magic, tech, and narrative dice. This game has it all. I had never played genesys before playing this, and I absolutely fell in love. Was a great intro to the game.

I am one of the play testers for this product and I can honestly say that the author and everyone behind this project look towards it with passion that I envy. It was a pleasure to work with him and hope I can return on any future endeavors they have.
The system is what it say. Any Era. Any universe. The 2 main tests we had done on the project were Southern Gothic Amercia following out characters as a mystery unravelled around us.
The second was a much more layed back session with subtle horror elements in the modern Era. Similar to a the Ten Candles system if you are familiar with the fear of doom.
The system is still in early days and will definitely grow and expand as long as the teams passion doesn't fade.
It was a pleasure working with you. I look foward to seeing where you take this system...

Missing random content that isn't missing in the free UFT/Classic Fantasy module. Monsters reported missing in the discord months ago still haven't been added. There is also no art for any of the monsters, just the exact same generic placeholder for each one.
It hasn't been updated in three months, as of this writing, and the Discord is pretty much dead. I don't know if it's even in active development, or they're just focusing on churning out the next OSE product, instead of actually finishing this one.
This was so expensive for a product that is still so half-baked. It makes Necrotic Gnome look bad and I definitely won't be spending any more money on their VTT products; not while they're partnered with VTT Red.
Two stars for at least having a decent base to build off, but I expected a lot more for the price....
Sad to see the end of PF1 support from DDS, but honestly one of the best ways it could end. A book jammed full of plenty new abilities for any situation you can think of, excellent customization/flavor options (like creating biotech, arcane machines, or even plant constructs), and even creating new talents via Inventioneering. If you like Spheres content, buy this book, you cannot go wrong with it. I wish the best for the authors of these books
The Wedding Ship is a scurvy little adventure for Pirate Borg. It has a fairly sandbox feel even though there is a central narrative. Players start out with information-gathering and drinking in a brothel (wouldn't have it any other way, mate) and have to find a ship to take them north to Jamestown where they can bungle their way through a number of different encounters before fighting monstrous sea creatures on the beach at sunset. All in a day's work!
I like that all the NPCs encountered are pretty scummy and worthy of a good keel-hauling. Just pick which ones you want to side with, or f@$k them all. The NPCs have an interrelated plot which is kind of hard to follow at some points in the narrative, and I imagine that rum-soaked pirates will have a hard time of it too. Just keep them asking "Where's the silver" and they'll do just fine.
I struggled a little bit with the formatting. Much of the text is written in cursive which looks cool on the page but for me is hard to read. And t...
A fine last hurrah for Drop Dead Studios with PF1e! The rules in the book are versatile and allow for a wide breadth of character builds, RP hook for a character or plot, or even just templating for more distinctive magic items. Computation+Transportation makes for the basis for a perfect Construct "Animal Companion" as one highlight.
My only real criticism is the vagueness of permanent item pricing.
Congrats on this project's completion
There's not a lot of substance to this game - feels padded by redundant and vaguely ChatGPT-feeling text. The rules seem fine, such as they are, but there's just so much cruft.
I'm about to start an Outgunned campaign, and the more I examine the game the more I love it's design and feel. This is the kind of TTRPG I wish I'd written myself: The mechanics are relatively simple, highly playable and capture a sense of action and urgency. Mostly, Outgunned is just plain fun. I have a suspicion it might become my new favourite RPG.

Finally the food bases Murka content I’ve been waiting for!! Excited for my player to dive into the wizard subclass. Nice chunky book with good lore, monsters, and subclasses!

I absolutely adore this book. I am currently writing a campaign centered around this setting. It will be my group and I’s second outing into the land or Murka and we are so pumped. Get this book if you love D&D and satire.

Another excellent 5 level map from DreadMaps to have your players explore. The gothic theme is rife with opportunities for ghosts, monsters, mysteries, and maybe some killer tapestries or paintings with eyes that follow the players.
