This supplement takes a daunting idea and makes it simple. Rather than try to reinvent the wheel by inventing a complex new system that has to be explained to players, Hard Boiled Armies takes regular gameplay and walks you through scaling it up to handle everything from a city watch protecting from an invading force to full-scale warfare.
This is all done in a fashion that allows an (in-game) protracted war move at a pace that is completely viable for real gameplay.
