Sea of Mystery is a very interesting solitaire that represents the evolution of Tunnels and Trolls material. Rather than taking the character through a dungeon crawl, the book allows players to freely explore a region and provides a number of small adventures within it.

My only gripe is that there is no mechanism preventing you from redoing adventures. It seems a little odd that you could repeatedly rescue a rich damsel from the same brothel and reap the rewards. This is a weakness of the format, however, not the author's text.
