Night Horrors: Nameless and Accursed
Publisher: Onyx Path Publishing

A great antagonist focused book with updates to Scelesti, Tremere and a variety of other enemies of the Pentacle that updates them to second edition. Only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because Shunned by the Moon is just that much more amazing as another antagonist book within the Chronicles of Darkness lines.

Wonderful addition to the Mage the Awakening setting with a lot of information about the pentacle, the world within the Chronicles of Darkness and how it relates to Mages and a large New York setting.

Night Horrors: Enemy Action

Okay, first up, I don't hate it, but this book is defeinitely the style of Night Horror books I'm not a fan of. Basically at the start of each section you get a couple paragraphs of "this is the demon sections" and then several written up examples of the subject of the chapter. I found it not especially interesting and most of the antagonists felt much more paint by numbers than what I expected. I'm also saddened that so much more of the art is "it's a person", "it's a dog", "it's a goat" than I excepted for Demons, Angels, Exiles etc.

Chronicles of Darkness: Dark Eras Companion

While the Eras included didn't tickle my fancy as much as those in the first book, this is still a fantastic resource for people wanting to run or play in a game focused around a historical setting. If you want to play something like a Werewolf the Forsaken game set in Ancient Rome, this is the book for you!

Night Horrors: Conquering Heroes

This is my favorite style of Night Horrors book, not only does it provide sample antagonists, it actually provides some writing space to expanding the antagonists and even adds a new type of antagonist beyond what was in the Beast core book. Sadly the art isn't as interesting as it could be, the majority of the antagonists appearing as humans in fairly typical modern garb, there isn't anything stunningly ugly either.

V20 Dark Ages Tome of Secrets

I definitely enjoyed it and found it a rather useful pool of ideas and locales, the art as always for this line is more often gorgeous. It is most useful for a Storyteller who wants more information on the daily life of the setting but a player wishing to play something more in sync with the mores of the time will find it very useful too.

Changeling: The Dreaming 20th Anniversary Edition
Publisher: Onyx Path Publishing
by Sean M. [Verified Purchaser]

Dreaming is a gorgeous and thick tome that brings the world of Fae to the classic World of Darkness setting. While I personally prefer Changeling the Lost, this is still an excellent read and adds a much more vibrant tone to the normally dour and grim universe of the World of Darkness.
