Just what it says on the tin. A great way to evoke the atmosphere of a specific location, weather, and mood, whether for an RPG or boardgames. Well worth the money. The descriptive title is a reliable indication of what you can expect, but simply listen to the audio sample to find out exactly what you will hear on the track. Seemless playback when used on repeat. Consider getting the nighttime version as well.

Both Creepy Daytime Graveyard and Creepy Nighttime Graveyard were a bit different from the other offerings I've purchased from Plate Mail Games. Make no mistake! They are still excellent environmental pieces--a nice, constant background punctuated with a good mix of appropriate sounds to accentuate the tracks. 10 minutes long for a quick strole through the cemetary by day or endless looping for a protracted vampire/zombie hunt at night.

A musical strain is introduced in these two pieces. It isn't operatic, so no worries about crashing highs or basement lows, but it is a different element for me and departs from their purely environmental offerings of which I'm their greatest fan. I'm sure I'll get used to.

I also bought the Thunderstorm at Horror House MP3 from this company, and was so impressed that I wanted to try out another. I noticed that there was both a daytime and nighttime Creepy Graveyard track, so I bought this one to see how exactly they could make it sound both creepy and day-like. After listening, I have to say, it works. This track has a really cool feel---the sounds of crickets and other summer insects, a desolate sounding wind, and haunting, otherworldly sounds that fade in and out. What really sold me, though, is the intermittent cawing crow. I'm not really sure how to describe it, but that somehow adds a third dimension to this track, and it makes you feel like you're there. I'm having a hard time not buying all of these now, haha, but I really want to try to use them in a game before I do :) I've messed around with playing the tracks on my phone, and they actually sound really good! I'm not the type of GM who brings a laptop to the table, so knowing that I can sort these MP3s into a playlist and just pull them up on my phone during a game is a big plus for me. I hope they make more of these so I can add sound to an entire campaign!
