Space Ships One

Included in this set are all the files seen in the 3d viewer below. These include a number of variations of walls, floors, and corners that make up the Space Ships One base set. This set began as a rough idea that was brought into life by a wonderful person named Smiles. She helped shape this set from the very beginning with ideas and encouragement. I consider her my co-artist on this set, and she knows she has my deepest thanks and her rightly deserved royalties :-D.

Thank You James, Valerie, and Michael for Test Printing and pictures. You are the very, very best. Thank you so much. Thank you Turutzi, andsel67, LiquidCyberSquid, Ei9ht, and DavRom97 for the wall textures.

This final release is dedicated to Mike Sussman, Aron Eisenburg, and Cirroc Lofton. Mr. Sussman for writing the very best 2-part episode of Star Trek. Mr. Eisenburg and Mr. Lofton for their scenes, both together and apart, which I treasure.

Using an Anycubic i3 to print with PLA filament
Having an issue where the tops of the floor grating is not filling in completely. I have changed infill percentages and retraction distance but neither seemed to help. Am I doing something wrong or is this intended?

I would try increasing your Top/bottom levels.

I use an MP Mini, and it has very odd layer heights but the principles should be the same for FDM printers.

For instance, I like to print my detailed tiles at .0875 layer height. Using 9 top layers to be safe, I would have a Top/Bottom thickness of .7875.

However, when I print low detailed models, I often print as high as .2625 layer height. For this I would probably feel safe with 6 top layers, using a Top/Bottom thickness of 1.57.

If you are using a .1 layer height and have trouble with the floor grating, I'd suggest trying .9 layer height.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
