Vyllage-on-the-Cheep COLOR Buildings Set #3

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Vyllage-on-the-Cheep? was the first MicroTactix Games product -- the original medieval fantasy town that you can print to light cardstock and build yourself. But today's Vyllage isn't the same old Vyllage you've known before!

The many fans of the original kits demanded it, and now it is here! Designer Gary M. Williams has completely recreated the Vyllage as incredible full-color cardstock kits that you can be proud to use alongside your finest miniature figures. In addition, he's improved the kits so they are easier-to-build and even more versatile than before, with separate modular doors, windows and signage that allows you to customize each building in dozens of ways.

All Vyllage-on-the-Cheep sets come as PDF files that can be printed to any printer. Make as many buildings as you choose! Scaled to popular 25 to 28mm miniature figures (or MicroTactix cardstock standup counters), these buildings can easily be reduced during printing to 15mm scale if you choose.

Inexpensive Vyllage-on-the-Cheep sets contain everything from the city walls to the town market to the wizard's tower to the church on the square - and it's all detailed in full color with shading and details you simply must see to believe. Your characters will feel right at home in the all-new, all-improved Vyllage-on-the-Cheep!

Set #3 - From a Cell to a Spell!
Set #5 contains an eclectic mix of essential buildings for your Vyllage. Start with the Vyllage Jail, and hope you don't have to spend too long behind those heavy stone walls! Next, past a large farmhouse, you'll see the entrance to the underground headquarters of the local dwarven miner's guild. Finally, we come to the Vyllage's Magic Shoppe, where spell components can be purchased... cheep!

Get Set #3 right now for only $6. You can collect the entire color Vyllage for little more than the original black-and-white Vyllage did when it was released -- and a lot less than any major miniatures game expansion!

Watch for the release of each new color set, and celebrate with us the full-color rebirth of the product line that created the cardstock buildings craze, and heralded the start of the MicroTactix line of products. The Vyllage-on-the-Cheep is brighter, better and more all-around useful than ever -- but it's still... well... cheep!

What I especially like with these sets are the "extras". This set has hay carts and hay stacks, an outhouse, a dwarf union hall entrance, and rooftop options for the jail house. You can put your doors and windows where ever you want on the bu [...]

Very nice variety of buildings. They are a bit on the small side though. It takes a bit of guesswork to print these to be more inline with the 28mm scale of miniatures I like. [...]

Another great set of cardstock buildings. The Magic Shop is pretty cool, and the Jail is very versataile. My favorite model, though, is the Dwarven Miner's Union Hall entrance. You don't see that one every day! [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
