 Regular price: $3.00
 Bundle price: $2.00

You are a Dwarf, one of the oldest races in the civilized world. The words of your ancestors guide you to greatness and protect you from danger. Your people are content to eat, drink, and feast in the sprawling glories of the mountains.

But the world has changed, and must be set right. The younger races bring with them new teachings, new magic, new troubles. They are the flame, bright and destructive - until they burn themselves out.

It is up to you to be the guiding voice of this new world, shielded by wisdom and protected by ancient oaths. You are the stone. You were here before, and you will be here after.

The Elf - A Dungeon World Playbook
 Regular price: $3.00
 Bundle price: $2.00

Your people have seen ages beyond mortal reckoning. Shadows of evil have passed over the world time and again, and with each passing age your people grew fewer and feebler until, finally, they retreated from the world. In your wake arose the proud dwarves, arrogant humans, stout halflings and so many others. Most of your kind dismisses their potential, content to sink slowly into obscurity.

But you see them for what they truly are.

Pushed into walking amongst them for reasons of your own, you have seen the myriad tragedies and impossible heights to which these successor races aspire. They are capable of dismal lows and staggering peaks, packed into lifetimes so short as to beggar the imagination. Your people may be in decline, but you walk the world with your head held h...

Six times a day, if you can manage it.But just because you prefer a soft life doesn't mean you're soft all the way through. When the time comes to sacrifice comfort for safety, you'll drop the fork and draw the knife. When enemies and thieves encroach, you'll fight them with sling and stealth. And when there's the promise of adventure, treasure and a feast at the end, you'll bring a tighter belt for the journey. It's a big world out there, and you're small. Time to get started.

The Halfling is a new class for use with Dungeon World, perfect for players who like their Dungeon Wor...

Excuse, when you say "your level or lower" (Burgeois Burglar, Battle Dwarf, ecc), what do you mean exactly? Happy to move the discussion anywhere else, if it's easier.

Hello! Normally for multiclass moves in Dungeon World, the phrasing is "Get one move from another class. Treat your level as one lower for choosing the move." These moves work the same, except you don't treat your level as one level lower. Hope this helps!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
