When you say a standard box holds up to 70 cards does that mean it fits in the space of just the base? Or 70 cards is packed tight from bottom to top of the lid? We were wondering if 72 cards would fit in the box or if 70 is completely tight on space. Thanks!

Hi, Tyler: 70 Premium-stock cards fit into the base (with 5 or so of those cards rising above the rim of the deckbox's base and going into the lid's space). I can fit 4 additional cards fine; adding a 5th card seems to be OK, but you can tell the lid's locking mechanism begins to run into trouble at that point. So, our small deckbox holds 70-74 cards pretty well.

mine arrived broken, with peices missing. How do I get a new one? I am extremely dissatisifed, and would enjoy a complete deckbox.
It just arrived today, 9/2/17.
my email is **@**.com. This is the easiest way to contact me.

I see that only poker and bridge cards can be packed into the deckboxes at shipping. If I was to need mini cards, which are roughly half the size of a poker card and so could be stacked side by side into a deck box, would that deckbox just be shipped to the customer separately?

Correct. The mini-card format actually fits quite nicely as two side-by-side decks inside these deckboxes, however we have not set up our site and operations work flow to support that pack out, so the empty deckbox item would have to be ordered as a separate line item on an order and the cards would not come in the deckbox, but both would come in the same shipping container.

The inner dimensions of the deck boxes are 66mm x 92mm, so it sounds like it will be a touch too narrow.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
