The Summoner - A Dungeon World Playbook

The summoner is a dungeon world playbook around summonining and maintaining the summons of various creatures. The class initially plays similarly to a wizard, but can be branched into several different playstyles and allows for numerous combinations of builds.

The core move for this class is summoning. Most summons create a creature which in turn gives you a negative ongoing penalty while the creature is summoned. This balances this class and gives you a fun and interesting mechanic of juggling negative modifiers while trying to solve problems for you and your party.

Some of the branches include a more wizard-like role while being still focused on summoning, a safe and stable summoner, or a summoner who's descending into madness while summoning as much as possible. Alignments, moves, and backgrounds help award playing each of these styles as well.
